What do you stock?

We stock a truly enormous range of sofas, living and dining furniture and beds, all at 'trade' prices. 'Too much choice' is an oft heard remark, but we make no apology as it's the reason why many people visit. We also stock a great range of mirrors, mattresses, lamps and lighting, cushions, rugs, paint, gifts and tableware.


Why are the prices so low?

The prices are low because we 'clear' over production and cancelled orders. This may not apply to every single item but the truth is we leave no reasonable stone unturned in our endeavours to offer real quality at sustainable bargain prices.


You mention cancelled orders and internet returns; what constitutes a cancelled order?

Cancelled orders usually occur when the original customer changes their mind. It’s as simple as that.

For example, Mrs A goes in to Bagwash & Slurry, a famous high street store. She sees a sofa she likes, chooses a specific fabric, and places an order. The sales assistant promises delivery in 5 weeks. After 6 weeks, and frustrated by waiting, Mrs A sees a sofa she prefers in another store and cancels the first order.

Being a highly reputable business, Bagwash & Slurry has little choice other than to refund her deposit. Like almost every other company selling furniture, B&S don’t hold stock and therefore need to find an alternative outlet for Mrs A’s sofa. That’s where we come in.


Where are you located?

We operate from a 20,000 sq ft warehouse/store between Oxford and Banbury, at Twyford Mill. (ADDERBURY. OX17 3SX). We are next door to the AGA/ FIRED EARTH FACTORY SHOP; it's easy to find and on the A4260. But we don't believe in adding cost by spending money on heating so, joking apart, please remember your 'thermals' over the winter months! Can I order over the phone or internet?

The short answer is 'no'. We seldom offer stock on the internet as it changes so frequently it would be impractical to do so. We will always try to help you over the phone and can offer advice and e mail photos, so it could be worth a call first. But by far the best solution is to visit. The stock changes constantly and that's one of our real points of difference. What you see on the floor is what's in stock for immediate delivery.


What about collection and delivery?

All our stock is available for immediate collection, or we can arrange delivery at competitive rates.
